The Center for Art is located at Georgia Southern University, 233 Pittman Drive.

This art center consists of two galleries and presents two permanent exhibitions, the Betty Foy Sanders Georgia Artists Collection and the Southern Folk Art Collection. The Center also hosts multiple exhibitions of student work, providing a professional environment.

As for Georgia Artists Collection, Betty Foy Sanders has divided it into six parts: A Sense of Place, Study of Nature, Human Form, Narrative in Art, Abstract Reasoning, and Aesthetic Object.

Galleries are open every workday, from Monday to Friday, from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Averitt Center for the Arts

Averitt Center for the Arts is not only home to four art galleries with rotating exhibits but also to the Emma Kelly Theater, many workshops, and various classes.

It is located at 33 E Main Street and is open to the public every workday from 10 A.M.

Ceramic & Sculpture Building

The Ceramic & Sculpture Building is one of the facilities of Georgia Southern University, reserved for art and design students. It is a place where students can learn about art and is one of three different art departments.

The other two are the Arts Building and the Center for Art & Theatre.
