For a dessert, one can look for peanut butter pie or a specialty of the house, Alligator Soul Banana Beignets.
Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room
Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is a family-owned Southern restaurant that has been in business since 1943. It is one of the most visited restaurants by locals, with a special touch of uniqueness. If you ask yourself, what kind of uniqueness are we talking about, we won’t leave you hanging. It’s about communal tables, so don’t be amazed if you are having lunch with complete strangers.
